Designing Chaos è il decimo disco del progetto solista di Giacomo "Jack" Casile, "Jack Brain", ideato nel 2015 con il desiderio di rendere personale un sound che di base si rifaceva all'alternative rock e al grunge degli anni '90. Il nuovo lavoro si pone come la summa delle varie esperienze musicali accumulate negli anni e delle varie influenze che si sono susseguite nel percorso artistico. Le atmosfere jazz e progressive si scontrano con quelle industrial e alternative rock generando un sound ricco di simbiotici contrasti: da una parte notturno e atmosferico, dall'altro meccanicizzato e aggressivo. Due anime differenti quindi, che si incontrano in un puzzle intricato e complesso dai toni dark e introspettivi ma anche con un pizzico di sarcastica ironia. Tra le varie influenze possiamo ritrovare: i Faith no more di "King for a day", Mingus di "The Clown", Radiohead di "Kid A", David Bowie di "Outside" e l'industrial di progetti come My life with thrill kill kult e NIN, per citarne alcune. Tutto il disco è stato come al solito registrato, composto e suonato da Jack Brain e per la prima volta anche il lavoro di mixing e mastering è stato realizzato completamente dal musicista calabrese.

Designing Chaos is the tenth album of Giacomo "Jack" Casile solo project, "Jack Brain", created in 2015 with the desire to personalize a sound that was initially based on the alternative rock and grunge of the 90s. The new work shows up like a mix of the various musical experiences accumulated over the years and various influences that have followed in his artistic journey. The jazz and progressive atmospheres clash with the industrial and alternative rock ones, generating a sound full of symbiotic contrasts; on the one hand nocturnal and atmospheric, on the other mechanized and aggressive. Two different souls that meet in an intricate and complex puzzle with dark and introspective tones but also with a hint of sarcastic irony. Among the various influences we can find: Faith no more of "King for a day", Mingus of "The Clown", Radiohead of "Kid A", David Bowie of "Outside" and the industrial of projects such as My life with thrill kill kult and NIN, to name a few. As usual, the entire album was recorded, composed and played by Jack Brain and for the first time the mixing and mastering work was also completely carried out by the calabrian musician.
